Berthage and Anchorage Charges (Notice N-1)

Effective on January 1st, 2010

1. The berthage rates per gross registered ton are:
a) For each of the first four periods of 6 hours or part thereof: 0.0250
b) For each succeeding period of 6 hours or part thereof: 0.0152
2. The anchorage rate is:
a) For the first period of 30 days: Nil
b) For each subsequent 30 day period or any part thereof, per gross registered ton: 0.0454
3. 1) In this section “winter season” means the period that begins on the closing and ends on the opening of the St.Lawrence Seaway.
2) Berthage charges for a vessel moored continuously in the harbour during the winter season and not engaged in commercial activity during that season are:
a) For vessels under 92 m in length 1426.63
b) For vessels not under 92 m and not over 200 m in length 2853.31
c) For vessels over 200 m in length 4279.96
3) Berthage for a vessel moored as described in subsection (2) and engaged in commercial activity during any part of that season is the sum of the following charges:
a) The applicable charge set out in subsection (2) for that vessel; and 0.0427
b) Per gross registered ton per month or part thereof that the vessel is so engaged
4. Notwithstanding the rates specified in this schedule, the minimum charge for berthage or anchorage is: 39.39
