Intermodal transportation system
The Port of Trois-Rivières is at the heart of an intermodal system linking all its partners and customers via marine, rail and road networks. It is served by Quebec Gatineau Railway, which provides direct access to the CN and CP rail networks. In addition, it is located near a marshalling yard and Quebec’s main highways, i.e. Highway 40 to Montreal or Quebec City, and Highway 55 connecting to Highway 20 and Interstate 91 in Vermont. These highway and rail systems provide quick access to the Quebec, Ontario and United States markets and provide a crucial competitive advantage for all port users.
